Just finished a double feature: The Mist (B&W version) followed by The Crazies. Both great flicks, but I forgot how effective and painful the ending of The Mist truly is, especially with Dead Can Dance music playing in the background. |

Saw it years ago in video... remember thinking it was a bit boring, overall. Raimi is much better with deadly-evil stuff like Drag Me To Hell. Quote:

I'd reserve that judgment for Raimi's The Gift, which I felt was a bit dull and sub-par. But I am glad that he's stopped making Kevin Costner romantic dramas and Spider-Man sequels. I love Drag Me To Hell all the more each time I see it. There's only one film he really should be making now, and it ain't based on a widely successful computer game!
