Bought an oddity from the US called White Fire

http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0088359/

The first review starts thus:

"Absolutely fantastic trash....this one has it all: nudity, good fight scenes, gore, action, explosions etc. "

Sounds like a winner!!!

Indeed it does, how can you go wrong with a review like that

Just recently ordered 'I Miss you hugs and Kisses', 'Cannibal Terror' and 'Nightmare Maker' (That last ones on DVD-R , couldn't find a proper DVD release) going through one of my DPP 74 completist phases that I get into every now and again. Usually lasts until I get frustrated at not being able to find something and give up for a bit

Had a Trash triple bill last night. Watched Leprechaun: Back 2 Da Hood, Sickle (The Slaughterhouse Massacre) and The Curse of El Charro.
Terrible films by all standards but I'm a sucker for trashy horror films, old or new I'm not really fussy.

Sickle was the worst of a bad bunch. It started out promisingly enough, the first 15 or so minutes were crammed full of enough sex and nudity that you'd be forgiven for thinking you'd accidentally put on a porno. After this however, it slows down to a snails pace and just never gets going, some of the deaths are atrocious aswell. I suppose I can't complain, it only cost me a quid.

Out of the three Lep 6 was the best. I've always been a fan of the Lep films (Lep 4 in Space being my favourite, it's a guilty pleasure ) It was pretty entertaining as far as cheapo-straight to dvd sequels go.

I can't get into the mood for dvd's at the moment.
I recon I watched about 2 , maybe 3 , dvd's max , mid July and all of August. September's now here and I still haven't got round to watching anything
yet .
It's not like I have nothing new to watch as I won 'Zombies' not long ago and i've a few titles in my 'to watch section' that i've never seen before.

Don't know whats wrong.

Thats the port over from the HD version and is one of the best of that format.
blu ray isnt all that its cracked up to be,whats the point of having all that room on a disc if theres no extras no enhanced material or bad transfers, not even commando is the directors cut like on the R1 release or a shoddy predator release.

No worries Reaps, you won't be missing awlt. I usually like these no budget shite-fests but this takes it to a new level. It's so slow it's painful.

I've got a few more lined up for the next few days. Trying to get through my back log of cheapo low budget horrors I've aqcuired recently. These ones look even worse 666:The Demon Child, Drainiac and Near Death. Looks like its gonna be a long week LOL.
