I was going to see it on Thursday but changed my mind. Glad I did now, it's getting very bad reviews.

It is probably the worst film I have seen in the cinema since AVP: Requiem or even the Thing from 2011!

The Amityville Curse (1989)

Five young people, including a pre Sons of Anarchy Kim Coates, buy a house in the cursed town of Amityville and start to renovate it. Nothing much happens.

Atrocious fifth entry in the Amityville series. It doesn't even look like the same house. Only recommended to those scared by a spider or a roaring fire place.

Watched Baby Love (1968!!, Alistair Reid).
Network's release looks "bonny" enough, some darkness in places that may have been "muddy" to begin with ahem.
The film, whilst not quite a female Twisted Nerve, is certainly up there, stroking the envelope with its rather torrid little tale of a cuckoo in the nest. Shot in an earnest style, befitting the director's TV pedigree. Plus Dick Emery's in it. Ahem. Recommended!!

A hahahahahahahahahahahahaha ha hahahahahahahaha. " I don't shop here" ahahahahahahahahahaha hahahaha. Comedy gold. And that song. May now watch Over The Top. MAY.......

Watched 10 CLOVERFIELD LANE yesterday. I really enjoyed it, and for the most part I agree with the very positive reviews I've read about it. That said, I didn't care for the last 20 minutes as much as the 50 or so -- that stuff felt kinda "tacked on", and I think I would have preferred the whole thing to remain more ambiguous.

But I dug it quite a bit, and won't hesitate to recommend it to other genre fans.

I know what you mean, everything leading up to that moment was outstanding and I felt a little let down that the film makers decided that we needed to see what was going on outside, it could have ended better if we didn't see it. I'm trying to explain what I mean without actually spoiling the end

Star Wars A New Hope

The film started a phenomenon that is still going strong to this day(despite George Lucas efforts too kill it of with the prequels !) even if you are one of those rare and strange people who have never seen the films (they have my pity) they will still know of characters etc from the film because of how deeply ingrained into pop culture the films are, if you look at it its not that well written or even acted, but there is something about the film that captures our imagination and the child in all of us. i'm properly in the minority but i really like this artwork and the companion pieces for the episodes 5 and 6. 9.4/10

One more thing, HAN ALWAYS SHOOTS FIRST

DRACULA (1979)

Mmmm. Okay I suppose. The set design for Carfax Abbey looks great and there is some good atmospheric pieces here and there. Dracula walking the walls looks really good and is quite creepy. Other than that, I have to say I was quite unimpressed by this bloodsucker.
