Caltiki Archaeologist's working on ruins in Mexico unearth an ancient creature. They manage to destroy it with fire but one of their men is attacked. The creature begins slowly eating him alive and comes back to attack mexico. Low budget sci-fi horror inspired by the works of Lovecraft and the Quatermass Xperiment. Its got some iffy effects in places including some obvious model work but given the film and the era it was made its all forgivable as the film itself is a lot of fun. It was started by Ricardo Freda but famously completed by Mario Bava. Kill baby, Kill! A doctor arrives at a small Italian town to perform an autopsy on a woman who is suspected of being a murder victim. He discovers that the locals seem to have a high mortality rate and its all centred around a dark secret and a strange creepy young girl. The rational doctor must face a threat that defies rational explanation. This is one of Mario Bava's finest gothic chillers. Rich with atmosphere and featuring one of the creepiest monsters the director put on screen. |

Another fantastic outing for Reeves as John Wick who this time is drawing backing into the world he thinks he left behind when he is forced to do one last job ,which he does with his usual style but this is only the beginning John's problems, fantastic and brutal action scenes that prove what a great action hero Reeves makes. The ultra 4k blu ray looks stunning 9/10 |

Someone at work who has seen it said to me, If you liked the last couple of Pirates films you'll like this, if you didn't you'll think it's shit. I found it to be good advice and stayed away

Monday is like "what did you do this weekend?" I'm thinking, well I watched Jess Franco's Two Female Spies with Flowered Panties and then followed that up with a documentary about 'competitive endurance tickling' called Tickled. Then I reply "Oh then usual, went out for dinner, enjoyed a walk"
