A70-2910.jpg GODSPELL (1973) Various people at work in New York are called by John The Baptist to follow Jesus. They travel through the city enacting parables and stories in song and dance.. Movie version of the stage show. Shot entirely in New York locations even on top of the World Trade Centre. The song 'Day By Day' from the musical entered the charts in 1972 and the singer Robin Lamont reprises her role and song in the film. This is a real feel good song and is used again in the end credits which works great. Victor Garber stars as Jesus in this his first movie. Fun, light hearted film of course with a message. |

Showgirls (1995) I disagree that this is one of the worst films ever made. If the critics could've seen it for what it actually was at the time of its release then it would've been better received. Because this is a very entertaining satirical piece of exploitation, which just so happens to have a big budget and is produced and released by a major studio. ***1/2 out of *****
