On topic: This is so good - You have boobs, blood, martial arts, Friday 13th homage - It's like the director watched Raw Force and decided to bring to this new century. 100% Recommend |

Personally i'd rather watch Freddy's revenge over New nightmare any day of the week. Revenge has subtext and exploding birds.

The Playbirds. 1978. Two detectives investigate the murders of centerfolds for the magazine The Playbirds and a female police officer goes in undercover. Typical British humour, woman meeting the milkman at the door in some lingerie and asking for some fresh cream, nowadays women meet the guys at the door with a towel and drop it. This ain't a film to watch while you are at work ( I knew what I was getting into when I done it), the good old days of Au Naturel of non fake chests and hairy...you get the picture. Laughs and plenty nudity ashore. 220px-The_Playbirds_FilmPoster.jpeg

Corporate Lawyer Peter Banning visits London with his wife and two Children , one night his children are kidnapped and a note is left saying captain hook has them, police believe it's some sort of stunt, but Peter finds out he is Peter Pan , now middle aged , flabby and boring he has to become the Pan he once was to rescue his children from captain hook. It did get very mixed reviews but I've always enjoyed it and both Williams and Hoffman give great performances as Peter and Hook . 7/10 Now watching . After October's horror marathon going for comedy films this month. |

Monty Python and the Holy Grail. 1975. King Arthur and his knights go on a quest to find the Holy Grail and come across obstacles in their way. Classic British parody doesn't come any better than this with the cast in plenty of comical roles where the laughs just keep coming and coming, we know it's daft but can't help but watch right from the start. how did they manage to be so straight faced, the film is well dated but still brought tears of laughter to me, even the animation with the voice over is our humour. holy_grail_poster.jpg
