I actually only bought it for the extras if i'm honest.

I mean. Is a shitty February when plague stalks the land really the right time to watch this movie?
I think this line went over the head of some posters.

After all Masque is a movie about plague stalking the land.

I got what you were saying but I guess it depends on your constitution, during the famous 'lockdown no 1' I was watching films like Contagion and Outbreak, morbid curiosity I guess. Contagion was pretty spot on how they handled the pandemic, it was very close to home, I wonder if they actually had technical advice from WHO during the filming

I don't really care about what is going on outside and my movie watching.

I said the Plague stalks the land thing as a jokey reference to the movie in question not because it would make me feel depressed or something.

Truth is i know Masque like the back of my hand and have no real rush to watch it. I'm pretty sure i watched it late 2019 last.

I didn't log it on Letterboxd - i barely log half the stuff i watch on Letterboxd. For example, Baron Blood, Hot Fuzz, Color out of Space, The Current War, The Gentlemen, Blue Rita, The Dictator's Son and Carol have all been seen this past couple of weeks but not logged or reviewed.

Thanks I’ll read it proper later I just glanced over it,
In meantime I’ve ordered 3 disc version of ebay that has both cuts of the film.
Total cost with pp £7

Just an idea want people opinion instead of just keep making more threads,
Anyone think it be a good idea to have a thread about films that have also have alternative versions ?
If so I'll start one. Thanks

Freddy vs. Jason (2003)

This one gets less enjoyable with each re-watch. THE most unlikable cast of characters in either franchise, I pretty much think that only the 2 boys from the asylum are ok, and perhaps the nerd boy.

Also, can we talk about Jason being 'scared' of water when in literally every F13 film he's either slaughtering people in heavy rain or he's bursting out from under the lake surface...

I've adjusted my RANKED LIST of the 'Friday' franchise and this now falls in dead last!

Trailer Park of Terror (2008)

Based on some comic book or other about zombie types killing idiots at a backwoods trailer park, this is forgettable in the extreme with a few flourishes of gore to liven things up. The fact there's no tension or atmosphere whatsoever really doesn't help matters.

This was my second viewing of this. There won't be a third!

More classic actions stars , more action and a lot more shit blowing up. The hard core porn of action movies. Highly enjoyable with a tonne of in jokes and Easter eggs. Switch off your brain and enjoy all the shit blowing up which includes people . 10/10

Taking place straight after the first , the ship carrying Gamera is hit by a meteor and he escapes and heads back to earth and destroys some shit and disappears. Elsewhere what is believed is a giant opal
is stolen from New Guinea but it is in fact a egg for the monster Barugon who promptly hatches and goes on a rampage in japan, sometime later him and Gamera have a fight , but Gamera is beaten and left frozen, the army and government try to stop the beast, but it's up to Gamera who awakens from his chilly slumber. 7.5/10
