Falling into the so bad it's good category, a demonic hand possesses an archaeologist who disappears , his wife goes looking for him knowing his possessed, the hand finds various hosts to keep itself one step ahead of her and a priest she teams up with. Unintentionally funny but some how enjoyable.

Decided not too watch house by the cemetery tonite, can't be dealing with Bob, might watch the gates of hell trilogy this Easter weekend.

Green Room

A Punk Band play a gig at a Neo-Nazi bar and end up running for their lives after encountering a Murder. Short and sweet, pretty good under the radar film.

Red Heat

Arnold Schwarzenegger is a Russian Cop who teams up with loudmouth Chicago Cop, James Belushi to track down a Russian criminal who has travelled to Chicago to do a Drug Deal. Typical 80's mismatched cop film that is still a decent watch.

Humanoids From The Deep

Alien creatures stalk and kill residents (And Dogs) from a Salmon Fishing town. Another short and sweet film (Even though the creatures look like they've just come from a 50's Sci-Fi film set)

Soul

Pixar Movie in which a Soul from a Jazz Musician tries to get back into the body instead of going to The Great Beyond. The Soul tries to mentor a new Soul that doesn't want to enter a body. I first thought that this was a sequel to Inside Out but to be honest for a Pixar Movie, I found this to be rather slow and boring (Apart from a couple of funny moments)

Stay Out Of The Attic. 2020.

Three ex-cons turned removals are hired to help a elderly man move, they are encouraged to work through the night, the more things they find out about their client, their night turns to survival.

This had a somewhat slow build up to it then after the first 30-40 minutes you kinda guess where it's going and who the old man really is or guess about his past. The acting isn't great but have seen worse even from the female lead, who can be a bit annoying and some good work with the special make-up in some areas of the film. There is somewhat of a decent background score that isn't exactly menacing to the film. I would watch it again.

TERRIFIER. 2016.

Tara and her friend become the obsession of a clown called Art.

Director Damien Leone set out to create a gore fest movie and done it with this, David Howard Thornton who played Art the clown was a mime before he became a actor and was able to use a lot of his skills to bring some creepiness to the character, smart thinking on his part.

Pratically there is very little plot but does a sadistic killer need a mindless back story...yes and no as they can be dragged on to the point of yawning becomes unbearable, for this it's two girls out on the town and a weird looking clown sets his eyes on one and a night out becomes a sadistic torture ring. The make-up effects are somewhat laughable at times but it was enjoyable, didn't know what kept me from watching this till tow.

I haven't seen it either it looks like type of film that when you finished watching you'd be thinking why did I watch this? 80-90 min of my life I won't get back, looks more laughable than scary.

It's an incredibly violent throwback to the grindhouse films of the 70's

Satan's Baby Doll (1983)

A weird and wonderful mess which goes under the guise of Italian horror. The funny thing is that following a third watch last night i still haven't noticed any horror in it. Plenty of random softcore sex (I watched the Shameless dvd) but bugger all horror.

And the closest we get to the brilliant artwork used to promote this film? Actually nothing remotely happens that is anywhere close to that great image.

Italian exploitation at it's finest.

Hollows Grove (2014, Craig Efros)

A group of "ghost hunters" descend on an abandoned orphanage with a chequered past
Why can't it ever be a holiday camp, you know?
Cameo from the Lance Henriksen btw
The caretaker says " You're all doomed" naturally (it's part of the job description surely) and our intrepid bunch are just as annoyingly dumb as you hope they are. Ruined by certain elements towards the end, shame as the build up was reasonably executed ....
