It was yes, so it turned out to be quite a stressful viewing experience. I found it to be quite heavy handed though and all the points were made in the opening intro, but they just kept on being hammered home until the poor old man was just a weeping teary mess.

One question that may never be answered, I was the same and just seemed to be a joke of a flick about the franchise

Pretty sure that I heard that there were quite a few egos involved. Apparently some characters had to take the same amount of damage as others.

I despised it. Took it to Cex the day after watching it and they gave me £8 of my £10 spent back.

Hobby and Shaw is the only thing to do with the Fast and Furious franchise I've been vaguely interested in.

Star Wars (1977)

Watching it on Blu-Ray for the first time was a thing of beauty via QLED tech. Scenes were so pristinely clear and little sequences i love such as R2D2 making his way through Jawa canyon came across so vibrant.

The final space battle certainly benefits from George Lucas sprucing it up and looked wonderful in HD but the rest of the film doesn't on the whole have the gritty edge that the original cinema version has on the early dvd. It's not helped by embarrassing little vignettes with assorted poorly rendered CGI creatures during the Mos Eisley chapters.

Next time i watch it i'll watch the cinema version on dvd until the Millennium Falcon arrives on Yavin moon then switch over to the Blu-Ray disc for the last half hour.

Yes statham well known for that, he can’t be beat and he has to give more punches than he receives, and I’m pretty sure (might be wrong I know it’s someone ) he doesn’t like being knocked down on the floor for longer than a certain length of time in the film, also Statham and Johnson have gave been headaches in some films because of their ego they’ve had to rewrite the script.

It’s all explained here but it’s too long to copy and paste.

Hide and Go Shriek (1988)

I first watched (And reviewed) this last December 29th and it didn't do much for me. The first half in interminably dull but it improves slightly in the second half.

On the whole though this isn't even close to being a good slasher film.

Hide and Go Shriek - Turning up soon in a CEX near you!

Pets (1974)

The true (ish) story of a young runaway (Candice Rialson) who ends up murdering a guy in the woods then shacking up with a female artist before leaving her to move in with Ed Bishop and becoming one of his 'pets' trapped and trained and locked in a zoo like cage.

Seriously. This is why you get a 2021 QLED tv and Blu-Ray player. So you can watch Code Red Grindhouse dvd's with the shittest transfers imaginable. (See screen shots below). Still at least the dog looked pretty good.

Watched the Last Drive In episode , Victor Crowley is resurrected when a plane crashes in his swap which has on it the only person to survive his bloody killing spree. Mr Crowley soon continues his killing ways. Lots of great OTT and gory kills which involve a lot of decaptions and exploding heads. The "fisting" scene has to be seen to be believed!

Also a good episode which includes Adam Green, Tiffany Shepis, Felissa Rose, Brian Quinn and the legend that is Kane Hodder .

Now watching .
