I bet In the Mouth of Madness would be Pointless seeing as it's never even had a dvd release over here.

Doubt anyone had heard of The Ward either.

I've never watched Pointless, I'm guessing it's like a reverse Family Fortunes where you have to pick the answer that no-one else has said?

That's correct

From the British Game Show Wiki:

"Before the show, 100 people are each given 100 seconds to provide answers to the questions that will be asked to the contestants during the show. Each person who said that answer is worth one point. To survive a round, teams have to achieve a score as low as possible, for the team with the highest score is eliminated after each round. Each time they give a pointless answer (a correct answer that scores zero points, hence the name of the show), money is added to a jackpot, which can be claimed at the end of the show"

I've never seen it either – I just know of the name and approximately how it works.

It's not bad actually. You can get some great rounds and subjects. Plus Alexander Armstrong and Richard Osman are excellent hosts.

No Escape. 1994.

On a prison island there is two camps, one a peaceful community and the other is a horde of sadistic killers. Robbins is a former soldier sent there after killing his commanding officer and is persuaded to join both sides while trying to figure out how to escape.

Nicely done Sci-Fi that is set in 2022, Ray Liotta plays the former soldier that is met by a tribe ran by Marek played by Stuart Wilson and his band of followers who are basically sadistic killers. The peace loving community is run by "The Father" played brilliantly by Lance Henriksen who just wants rid of Marek. Michael Lerner plays the somewhat prison warden who see's everyone's movements.

Despite it looking like a B grade movie, this is one of those films that's actually enjoyable a second time round, there is very little profanity, a couple of the F words are uttered, the occasional B word but certainly makes up with some good killings.

High Risk (1995, Jing Wong, Wai-Lun Lam)

Jet Li revenge caper.
Prime HK.
There's some clunk, but just suck it up at the back there, this one's a small treasure.
Featuring that special "total lack of care about human safety" that we all love.
When a spoilt film star's bodyguard hears a voice from his past, all hell breaks loose and then some. The stunts! The minatures! The terribly literal subtitles!!
Recommended.

A small group of people decide to goto the country and make a porno but things soon take a turn for the worst when a demented sex crazed old biddy starts trying too shag them and then brutally dispatch them. For Ti West film it's surprisingly faster paced than his other movies I've seen its also a lot more gory, a enjoyable slasher that has a bit of a Texas chainsaw vibe.

Now watching

Shadow Warriors. 1997.

A elite Navy Seal team is chosen to rescue hostages by a drug lord who wants his leader released.

We got Billy Drago being the bad ass drug lord who knows how to act in any role, Carl Weathers who tries to be the diplomatic team mate and try to be the one that has good suggestions. Shannon Tweed plays the female member who does look good in a bikini and Hulk Hogan who tries to over act everyone. Wonder if he used his political skills to get what he wants with director Jon Cassar.

Jon: Ok Hulk how about you run this way?
Hulk: Hmm that won't work for me Brother

Decent enough for back ground noise.

The Earth Dies Screaming. 1964.

A group of survivors fend off a deadly invasion of aliens that uses robots and a poisonous gas to conquer the world.

Hammer regular director Terrence Fisher takes the helm with this science-fiction chiller that keeps a steady pace and able to make a eerie atmosphere start to finish, mixed with some dense fear of isolation. This is a low key B grade movie with a small budget and decently placed actors, for a film that's about 62 minutes long this was worth a watch.
