Ben having a bit of a Kevin Smith marathon.

Watched Clerks and Clerks II yesterday, and watched Mallrats and Chasing Amy today.

... Plus, of course watched Dawn of the Dead last night online with some fellow labbers.

Finished Death proof, really liked it. Not sure if it was better than Planet Terror, probably just as good.

I watched Back to the Future at the cinema this evening and it looks absolutely breathtaking in the digitally remastered format. It's also an extremely watchable film with terrific writing and direction by Robert Zemeckis -- it's just a shame that the next two instalments didn't live up to the promise of the first.

In the heat of the moment it's forgiveable to go ass to mouth!

Watched The Wolfman(remake). Pretty impressed with it. Loads of atmosphere, some decent gore, a few jumps, great Rick Baker FX and an over the top performance from Ant Hopkins.

take that back Nos, BTTF2 is superior in many ways to the first. The 3rd not so much, but No.2 has many different time travel elements and is a better written film, Plus it's my fave film of all time so im gonna be a bit biased...

Mulholland Drive. I've not seen it since it was first released and couldnt remember most of it, unlike most other David Lynch films which are scorched on my memory quite vividly. Its very hypnotic and I couldnt take my eyes off it, but at the end I didnt feel overwhelmed.

The problem may lie in that it was made for TV then finished years later. You can tell. Positives outweigh the negatives, though.

The Raiders of Atlantis - Loved it! One of the best action films to come out of italy during the 80's. Why it hasn't had a dvd release is beyond me.

Thunder - so-so Rambo knock off starring Mark 'Bronx Warriors' Gregory and Bo Svenson.

Just seen The Hole, the new Joe Dante flick.
I saw it in 2D though but it did not take much away I dont think but I not seen in 3D so cant say for sure.

It was meant to be a "kids horror" title but I enjoyed it, was fun and the first evil puppet scene was quite creepy. The end "battle" so to speak got VERY cheesy

Overall I gave it a 6/10
