M3gan

A woman has to take care of her Niece after her Parents died and as she is a Toy Creator, she gives her a prototype life like Doll who becomes a Killer (Chucky style)

A bit slow at the beginning but it does pick up rather nicely once, M3gan starts to become more evolved and starts murdering people and she can get creepy.

As a previous Reviewer said, there is more gore to this Film (I think we will see an Extended Edition upon DVD/Blu-Ray Release)

There will be a Sequel,
SPOILER:
I'm guessing, they'll use the stolen Files created by Kurt (The Assistant) to create another one.

Spirited (2022, Sean Anders)

Mate took this round, so in revenge I showed him Mad God afterwards
Will Ferrell finally stars in a musical. A festive one at that
Wince inducingingly twee at heart, this is yer full on Hollywood production with the cast of thousands (cough) with the slightest whiff of classic productions from the past, which is totally undermined by the sight of WF's face making the singing noises. It may just be me, but I associate that face with nonsensical screaming in a phone booth etc. Not a great match. 2hrs 7 mins and all!! Sheeeeeeeeeeeeesh.

I fancy going cinema to see this if or when I get time, but so far 99% of reviews I’ve seen aren’t very good ones, but hey hum I’ll judge for myself.

Well this was a very pleasant surprise, a mother ( Elisha Cuthbert) moves into her new home in Ireland with her husband and two children .

While exploring the basement the daughter disappears , investigating the mother becomes convinced that she has not runaway like the police think and it's something how link too the house which strange things start happening . It's a bit of a slow burn but is well acted and atmospheric , the film ends up dealing with the supernatural, meta physics and quantum physics and the ending reminded me a little of the beyond. Well worth a look in my humble opinion.

Now watching a one that might not be the greatest movie but it's one I've always enjoyed .

Circus Of Horrors. 1960.

A plastic surgeon wanted by police flees to France and takes over a run down circus. After 10 years of success the main attraction of the troupe begin to die in mysterious circumstances.

Anton Diffring shows he can be a charismatic and sadistic leading actor in this little number that was made outside the Hammer Horror films which surprises me hat they never snatched it up. Jane Hylton and Kenneth Griffith play the siblings and assistants to the mad doctor. Donald Pleasance is in this for about 12 minutes tops as the original circus owner, although he has a small screen time he is very energetic with his character. I will admit the direction is good and the acting but the deaths are done mostly off screen and we do see the aftermath. One that I thought was dull and boring has now grown on me a lot over the years.

Truth Or Dare. 2018.

A group of friends holidaying in Mexico go to a abandoned monastery and play truth or dare unaware that a evil presence has followed them and carrying the game on.

Second time round seeing this and it's better this time round, we got a group of unknown actors so it helps us to see how they create the characters for the film rather relying on known actors we know. The premise of the story is a bit different in a way, we have seen what can happen stepping into a abandoned religious building but these drunk teens have no idea what they can invoke. The deaths are a bit creative especially with the creepy smile that goes with it. There is very little jump scares but the tension is there during the dares especially walking round a rooftop.

Phantasm III: Lord of the Dead (1994)

More of the same really as Reggie Bannister returns to battle the Tall Man and his sliver spheres.

Upping the ante with extra grue and more flying ball action this was fun all the way.

I guess if you like one of these films (sequels) which i do then you'll like them all.
