That won't take long. After one single viewing it's almost up there with American Graffiti and Dazed n' Confused at the pantheon of high school movies.

I actually watched this over the weekend. I quite enjoyed it, its not top tier Marvel by any means (although there are differing opinions on what that is). It's certainly better than some offerings, such a Thor Love and Thunder or The Marvels for instance.

This is a genuine question I have little knowledge of the Marvel films but have they run their course or are they still as popular?

I tend to think they've run their course. I'm not saying that out of personal dislike.

The run from 2008 - 2019 Iron Man to Endgame - had some excellent films in it and were hugely successful, partly down to fantastic casts.

As soon as the likes or Robert Downey Jr were dumped they lost the star power and the charisma that powered the films when they weren't blowing shit up. They also put out too much product (money grabbing?) with additional tv series that linked in with the films, although i did enjoy the first five series of Agents of SHIELD and Agent Carter had it's moments. The rest i've not seen. The fact that it helps to have seen The Falcon and the Winter Soldier when it comes to the latest Captain America film puts me off.

I've only seen selective films since Endgame, mainly due to the fact that if i watch something i want it for my physical media collection so have avoided stuff like The Eternals and The Marvels which everyone says are shit. The ones i've seen have been decent - Black Widow - and superb - Spiderman: No Way Home, but the rest i've avoided. Deadpool doesn't count as he's not PG rated MCU in that respect , but i love those films. So funny, so un-PC and so un-Disney.

I'd definitely say watch Iron Man. It's a great film. If you like that then continue on.

I'll finish by saying i do intend on buying Dr. Strange In the Multiverse of Madness at some point.

I have seen a few films here and there but couldn't keep up with the volume of them the Guardians films are great well the first two the third one was a hard watch too emotional with the animals and that not for me. I have a soft spot for the Toby Maguire Spiderman films but I haven't seen any ones after that. I have seen one Captain America film and three Iron Man films and one avengers oh and Ed Norton Hulk there ends my Marvel journey.

Spiderman
The Hulk
Captain America
Fantastic Four
Dr Doom

Those were my favourite Marvel characters as a kid.

I have always liked the darker tone of DC but they churn out some shit films Batman and Superman aside but not Batman v Superman

LET SLEEPING CORPSES LIE (1974)
THE LIVING DEAD AT THE MANCHESTER MORGUE

You know what always annoys me about this movie? The Ray Lovelock character. I can't stand the way he talks, the dialogue is bloody terrible and he is generally pushy and horrible to everyone.
Other than that, pretty enjoyable movie with some great UK locations.
The shot of the church on the top of the hill as they drive past looks superb and a good optical effect.
The undead attack in the crypt and later at the hospital are good and some nice gore scenes if you have the uncut version.

For the record I've not seen Falcon and the Winter Soldier Dem. Well an episode and a half, it was boring and I couldn't stick with it. It's has very very little bearing on Brave New World. There's two characters carried over but it doesn't take much to work it out.

I don't think it's so much they've run their course as they need a break. Theres just been over-saturation, they really need to space things out a bit. At one point they were events, now it's hard to keep up.

They should have taken a few years off, rebooted and then recast. They've lost their star characters as well as their star actors.
