On BD. Well Dante is back on form with this one .. kinda. I was surprised though just how FX lite it is for this kinda genre. Made a refreshing change really to be not see what actually is scaring the kids and to make your own imagination work overtime. The ending was poor though and it had plot holes galore! I mean, why did the copper have a hole in the back of his head? And why didn't they just put more padlocks on when the originals were lost? I suppose if they had done that, the film would have been over in 20 minutes!

Good use of the rear speakers too.
So I guess you wanna keep your BD?

Very good point, Nos! You'll have to check out Weasles, sarg but you really have to be in the right mood. I'll check out those titles, BE - I think they're all on the same label as part of a collection.

Which reminds me I also (!) managed to watch Video Violence 1 & 2. These SOV films are pretty damn terrible and not nearily as hilariously bad as I was hoping. The second one (kind of a gory version of Kentucky Fried Movie) was just too damn weird for me to even watch it all the way through. That's saying something!

After a week dominated by review discs, I seized the chance to watch a couple of my unwatched BDs: Donkey Punch and Orphan, both of which are really good with fine stories and excellent performances.
