i watched The Beast Stalker last night, a superior kidnap thriller that was shot using hand held digital camera's that allows you to get into the action when the set pieces kick into gear, great direction from Dante Lam an a great performance from Nicholas Tse.

Each to their own and all that jazz

hills have eyes is still my fav remake and imo a million times better then original.

Last night I watched the documentary Cropsey about a urban legend in Stanton Island NYC. It was about these mentally handicapped kids that got kidnapped and a few of them were found dead in the 80s while others bodies were never found.
it was quite interesting, the guy that got arrested for it never spoke at his trial or in any interviews so we will never know if he actually did it.
MBV saw at pics the 3d depth etc was very impressive....seen quite a few in 3d at pics and yes Final destination was very good in 3d..
Only seen original MBV twice been yrs need to rewatch it...
Most remakes are pants no intentions of watching Nightmare on Elm street
Hills Have yes was excellent . I Spit on your Grave wasnt a bad remake . But just didnt work for me..
same goes for last house on left still packed a punch r two tho,
There that many remakes u could go on and on...

Watched Nightmare City today, I've had the Anchor Bay UK DVD for ages and have never watched it.This was pure non-stop entertainment, I loved every cheesy minute of it! I'll have to watch this again soon as the film moves so quick I'm sure I missed some funny bits first time round. The ABUK disc looks really nice too.

Had a nice chill day and watched something nice and colourful to counteract the horrid Uk weather ...

Cloudy With a Chance of Meatballs

From the animation to the fantastic hilarious script .. including the unpronouncable name of the invention ... absolutely terrific. Some great one liners and in jokes too.

The Hole : I may be biased as an affirmed Joe Dante admirer, but I thought this was a great kids' horror flick. Extremely well made and it really drags you in. I am not sure there is (or has ever been) a better director of child actors around.

Top notch stuff.
