To be honest I don't know why it was slated so much, I enjoyed it too. Wasn't bad.

watched this great little Hammer flick from Jimmy Sangster last night Called Taste Of Fear, some great plot twists and some pretty good performances. Was quite creepy too.

Default What films have you seen recently?

Darren Ward's SUDDEN FURY which I like enjoyed a lot better than Jim Van Bebber's DEADBEAT AT DAWN I saw sometime ago
and Ward's short films BITTER VENGEANCE and NIGHTMARES
RAZOR BLADE SMILE - tongue in cheek Brit vampire horror with the sexy Eileen Daly
Romero's KNIGHTRIDERS - not a bad film

I was very disappointed with The Poughkeepsie Tapes.
It had a good idea but it just fell flat!
No wonder its still sitting on the shelf since 2007! Its still not had a DVD release in the US let alone over here.

edit:

Just seen the Afterdark Original Scream of the Banshee and oh my it was terrible!
There was nothing good in it al all! Waste of 90 mins!

it wasnt really interesting enough, bored me half to death.
cant really remember half of it to be honest.

it felt so lifeless like everything just happened and you was going through the motions. Felt emotionless and just bland. Bad acting didnt help things.

fair enough, i feel the complete opposite! loved it and thought was very well done, i am a big fan of films with a documentary feel to them and with films with a snuff type theme so this was great for me
