I went to the cinema and saw Limitless last night. Great film, really fantastic camera work and use of colour to depict the mood of the characters. Highly recommended, 4 out of 5 from me

watched Little Fockers Last night, would never have thought the great Robert DeNiro would stoop so low as be involved with a bonner gag, not very funny to be perfectly honest and Owen Wilson is incredibly annoying in it...

Watched Jacob's Ladder last night. I love this film. The scene when Jacob is being pushed on the hospital gurney is amazing.

I'm interested to hear them (and I imagine others would be too), so could you post them for everyone to read?

ill post here but without spoilers gummo and i stand alone were both great films imo but both were quite depressing. gummo doesnt really have a plot as such and i can imagine that is like you said marmite , defo not a film for cat lovers or for ppl that are easily offended but a really interesting film that sort of plays out like a documentary in a way and the soundtrack is fantastic. i stand alone as ppl probably know is a film by the guy who made irreversible , the main guy plays his role very well and the whole film has a very depressing tone to it, again this is probably not a film for everyone and has some disturbing scenes in it but its defo worth a watch. |
