Don't forget Essex Boys the film that came before both Bonded and Rise.

In that it looked bad, I actually thought I'd stuck the dvd in by mistake.

Really? I thought it looked pretty good for what it was. It was never going to look like Avatar.....and it looks a hell of a lot better than City Of The Livibg Dead and Tenebrae.

Russ Meyer's Supervixens - a minor masterpiece. The editing of this film is all-time world class.

Ah my bad completely forgot about that. Rise of the footsoldier is still my favourite of the three tho.

Watched Sucker Punch last night.

I really enjoyed it. Loved the visuals and the music, great to see how they complemented each other. The steam driven clockwork WW1 german soldiers were an excellent invention and i would love to see them again.

I thought it a very dark film for a 12 cert.

I can fully understand people who say it was poor and just a series of music videos and cgi, but i really liked it.

Watched Source Code last night. Cracking film, and on BD it looked and sounded superb. Had to turn it down a few notches so the explosions didn't wake the baby!

Gyllenhall was the best he's been since Darko, Michelle Monaghan is always good, and Jeffrey Wright was hamming it up to the max! (in a good way)

I thought the 'phone' cameo was a cracker as well. Great film.

Super 8. honestly it was like being raped by candyfloss. to call it Cloverfield Jr would be an insult to that film. echoes of past glories litter the film. i wont be watching this again.
