I picked up the Shriek Show British Horror Quadruple Feature used for $13.49 and when I got home and opened it I saw that all the movies were stilled sealed in the factory shrink wrap. Still have Die Screaming, Marianne (1971) and Frightmare (1974) left to watch but after reading all the good comments regarding Frghtmare I am going to save that one for last.

Last night I went to see Marvel Avengers Assemble. It was OK. Not great, but passable. Better than the appalling Thor, nowhere near as good as the first Iron Man. It has many problems (mostly dialogue and Chris Bloody Hemsworth - awful actor) but isn't actually offensive. |

started watching some of my jim jarmusch collection. started with Down by law (wrong order I know). Fantastic movie beutifully shot by Robby muller, should get a blu-ray treatment some day but looks great on upscale. Classic jarmusch, dark and funny with some great acting, especially from tom waits (who also provides music) and roberto benigni. Next up...stranger than paradise. |
