Thinking back, maybe I watched too much television as a child. Might explain why I'm not right in the head. on a regular basis: Thundercats G.I. Joe Scooby Doo He-Man Danger Mouse Transformers Beetlejuice The Real Ghostbusters M.A.S.K. Dingbat and the Creeps Smurfs Dungeons & Dragons Captain Cavemen Robotech The Frankenstones Defenders of the Earth Inspector Gadget Schoolhouse Rock Voltron Jem and the Holograms Silverhawks Visionaries and I also remember the short-lived Robocop cartoon and today, I'll watch Grim Adventures of Billy & Mandy when given the chance. |

I'm sure there are plenty others but can't think of them all. |

A couple of films that stood out were - "The Amazing Mr Blunden" (superlative kids ghost story with a top cast) and "Escape from the Dark" (top notch tearjerker about pit ponies). On TV I used to like "Pitkins", "Robbie's Robots", "Michael Bentine's Potty Time", "The Double Deckers", "Banana Splits", "Fingermouse", "Robinson Crusoe", "The Flashing Blade". That's late childhood TV as opposed to teenage years TV. |
