I loved The Red Hand Gang when I was young. Anyone remember the other tv show with Matthew Laborteaux from TRHG,called Whiz Kids?

When I was in grade school the two shows I really liked were Air Wolf and Hard Time on Planet Earth. I really hope that they release HTOPE on DVD sometime in the near future as I would love to revisit that one. I already own all the Air Wolf seasons that I care to. As far as cartoons go I was really into Robotech.

When it comes to movies I have always loved Big Trouble in Little China, Labyrinth, Cloak & Dagger, Gremlins, E.T., Transformers: The Movie, GI Joe: The Movie, and Spaced Invaders.

Gotta love the nostalgia factor!

There are lots of movies I loved as a child. The only problem is deciding when my childhood ended

Highlander
Robocop
Scrooged
Home Alone
Drop dead Fred
Mac and Me
My stepmother is an alien
Beetljuice
Mermaids
My Girl(still sad to watch today)
Gremlins

There are lots of christmas films as well. I was raised by the tv

I annoyed a friend of mine by telling her that I think My Girl is the funniest film I've ever seen......I stand by that statement.

Does anyone remember Bravestarr? I used to love this cartoon as a kid. It really was essential viewing for me.

What are your favourite childhood TV shows or films and why?
A bit late replying but I loved Bravestar. Eyes of a hawk, strength of a bear, speed of a puma

I also loved Thunder cats, wheel warriors and Centurians(i think it was called). Oh and X men was great, I may get the dvds at some point.

The Real Ghostbusters
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles
Thundercats
He-Man
The Visionaries
Defenders of the Earth
Fresh Prince of Bel Air
Knightmare!
Art Attack/finders keepers (neil buchanan)
Timmy Mallet
Funhouse with the legendary Pat Sharp
and of course WWF wrestling!!

I was also addicted to Home and Away & Shortland Street (anyone remember that!?) when I was a kid, which is wierd cause soap operas bore the crap out of me now!)
I used to hate CBBC (especially Blue Peter) with a passion and love CITV

Used to love The Lone Ranger & Rawhide & Lost in Space ("Never fear, Smith is here!" ) & Planet of the Ape re-runs on sundays as a kid.

Ahh happy memories

ps. Unfortunately I was too young for Magnum PI and Quincy ME but I have since made up for lost time
I totally forgot about The Visionaries. I used to have the toys aswell.
I used to love Pugwall also.
