Is It Follows worth a blind buy when it comes out here?

Depends what you're into I guess but I thought it was brilliant. It's a slowish film but really smart and cineliterate and really creepy. Owes a debt to a whole range of films (Halloween etc) but in an interesting way. I'd personally recommend it

Cheers. I'm considering it. It came to the cinema, but nowhere near me!

I bought the British release, but I haven't had a chance to watch it yet. I've scanned through and the new footage doesn't look good – it's very rough – but I hope it won't be too jarring when it switches between it and the existing HD material.
J Harker likes this.

I saw it in cinemas if it's any help to anyone. It's pretty obvious when scenes have been added, some you can barely make out details. Most however aren't too bad, just a bit low on colour and detail.

I'm 99% certain the only option is to play the extended version.
