Does anyone have any thoughts about a film called 'Chanbara Striptease'?

HMV currently have it for £3:00. I know that the word "chanbara" is used to describe something where the weapon of choice is a sword, and it's obvious what the word "striptease" means!

Is it a good film, or (with a title like that) would I know EXACTLY what I was getting?

Hunchback of the morgue is worth buying but only if you
like some gore and if the sight of rats being set on fire
doesn't bother you too much. As regards thou shalt not kill except,
I own it but I haven't seen it yet. But I think any film with Sam raimi and
I think a certain bruce campbell also features then its worth picking up. The disc
appears to have some decent extras on it also.

Does anyone know if the Criterion edition of The Night Porter is superior in picture quality to the R2 Anchor Bay release?

Not seen the Criterion edition but I know it's non-anamorphic. The ABUK edition is anamorphic but looks like a VHS master was used. Buy a blu-ray player and get the upcoming BD
