Thanks for the link Inspector. Seems a decent edition and I've clearly missed out on the Powerhouse version. Wonder when the rerelease will happen.

Is there a better version of it? While we're at it, is there a version of Let's Scare Jessica to Death in print?
I saw the Vipco release and think that was very edited but there is a version of it on YouTube not sure if it is a unedited version.

Can't comment on whether it's worth getting, but according to an E-Bay listing, the films contained are:

CLAY
MIDNIGHT 2
HORROR ROCK
HOLLA IF YOU HEAR ME KILL YOU
I SPIT CHEW ON YOUR GRAVE

NEW - American Gore Stories Vol 1: Serial Killers Gone Wild

Yeah, Nightbirds is very different to Milligan's normal stuff. To really get Milliagan I recommend the biography "The Ghastly One: The Sex Gore Netherworld of Filmmaker Andy Milliagan " by Jimmy McDonough. Best book I have ever read on a director. Milligan was a beast of a human being and whilst not making the films any better to view knowing more about him certainly helps the viewer isolate themes and the drive to make art and a living at the same time. Stephen Thrower's reviews of Milligan's films in Nightmare USA are a good starting point too in understanding the films. That said, they are shit by any normal standard and only truly for those with special eyes and ears...

It depends on your experience with Milligan. He's too chatty to be the Murican Franco but his longuers can be of the hair tearing variety. True, it's unique ..... but so is an endoscopy. Any help??
