I really like Splinter – it's good without being brilliant and has some excellent visual effects. I'm not sure whether I've seen Witchcraft or not, so won't comment on that one.

I've just my collection and I do have the British release as it came in a cheap 10 film boxset from Stax Entertainment. As far as I can remember, it's mediocre at best, but good fun and it's worth watching for the on-screen pairing of Linda Blair and David Hasselhoff alone.

I think somebody might have assassinated Harker right when he was about to tell a story about Witchcraft...
Everyone better stop talking about this

UK release is cut, I think. The Region 1 disc from Shriek Show is uncut. Either version is probably just as shit though, not a very impressive film.

Just wondering if anyone owns the CornerStone Media Dead Of Night Popcorn release, and if they can let me know how it is. Aspect Ratio, quality, etc. I can't seem to find many details about it online. I'm not expecting great things, especially from the same source that has repackged so many Vipco releases, but it may well be better than nothing.

I've never seen the film, but had it on my to seek list for some time. I was awaiting the Code Red DVD, but that doesn't seem to happening(?), so I might just buy the Dead Of Night release until something better comes along, as it's pretty cheap in my local HMV with their Blue Cross sale.
