Maniac. Brilliant film with an outstanding performance by Joe Spinell and excellent SFX. Blu-ray with mediocre PQ and many specials.

The Prowler. Excellent and entertaining Slasher. Again, brilliant SFX (again by Tom Savini). Good-looking Blu-ray, few special features.

The Living Dead At Manchester Morgue. Great and very moody film. A classic. Blu-ray: very good.

Dead & Buried. Never seen.

The weak link is The Prowler for me. If it has to be two then I'd say The Living Dead at the Manchester Morgue definitely and Maniac if want something nasty or Dead and Buried if you want good atmospheric horror

Well done that man You won't regret it. There's nothing wrong with The Prowler but compared to the other three it's a bit generic.

Good choices. Prowler is definitely worth buying, so keep it in your wish list.

I've noticed that there are a few 'public domain' copies of the Town That Dreaded Sundown on ebay for a couple of quid. Does anyone have one of these and if so, what's the quality like? I know there's a BD from shout but I'm not multiregion
