Not seen this set myself but there's a review here

For what it's worth, Part 2 and 3 are enjoyable time wasters, Part 4 is a huge embarrassment for all involved, while First Blood is simply one of the best films of the 80's, and I say that with no shame...

What would you be upgrading from? The extras aren't great on the blu boxset but I think the av quality is brilliant. At least compared to the original R2 dvd boxset I had.

No shame required. Though are have to disagree on Part 4. I think it's a fantastic film.

I had this set

I'm pretty sure they're the same discs as your dvd set. In which case the blus are a big improvement. Like I said though there aren't a great selection of extras.

That's a shame. The main reason I buy Blu-Ray's is for the special features.
