I love the films of Fritz Lang, so his next film came as a surprise to me as I was expecting to love it. Unfortunately, I didn't. So next on my list if over-rated films:

Fritz Lang's Metropolis

Well I just wanted to mention Lord of the Rings – what with the constant flirting between Frodo and the other dude, I wanted these two lads to embrace their homosexuality so we could get on with the film, but...

Okay, okay, I promise I won’t mention Lord of the Rings again. I promise !

Official Announcement

I watched Martin a few weeks ago, a so-called classic. I found it very disappointing.

Yep, almost mine as well but Dawn of the Dead can take a serious beating and still emerge king of the hill. Martin and Ganja and Hess are my two favourite vampire films, even though they play fast and loose with the genre, but that's probably part of the reason I love them both. Two incredible treasures...

Now, I find Dawn to be seriously over-rated. I don't actively dislike it, but it's easily the weakest of Romero's original 'Dead Trilogy', for me.

Ganja & Hess is fantastic, and is a favourite of mine too. Whilst I do love both it and Martin, Vampyr and Nosferatu are my two favourite vampire films.

Its almost the weakest of all six of his Dead films.

Fourth out of six anyway.
