Spielbergs last really good films were The Terminal, Catch me if you Can and Minority Report.

Quite looking forward to War Horse though - and yes i hope its schmaltzy and heart warming.

Greetings!
Are you seriously saying you hate Hitchcock's 1956 masterpiece THE MAN WHO KNEW TOO MUCH because it stars Doris Day??

And I'll agree with those defending Jean Rollin, in fact they should make films these days which have paper thin plots and rely solely on atmospherics. Better than the soulless, narrative-driven rubbish churned out by hollywood, etc, in the 21st century.

Impressive. Most impressive. Obi-Wan has taught you well. You have controlled your fear. Now, release your anger. Only your hatred can destroy bad Hollywood films and overated cult classics...

None of the Indiana Jones Trilogy (note trilogy)?

They formed an integral part of my childhood and I find them endlessly watchable.

LHOTL is just rubbish - a badly made and mean spirited farrago. No amount of tacked on murmurings about Vietnam can add any depth to it.
Agreed. Also, Night Train Murders and The Last House on the Beach employ the premise so much more effectively.

I do like The Exorcist, but have to agree that it is terribly over-rated.
