Looks interesting. Based on Tolstoy's classic story as was Bava's The Wurdulak and Ferroni's Night of the Devils.

"Hellboy: The Crooked Man"

"From renowned director, writer & producer Brian Taylor (Crank, Happy!) comes Hellboy: The Crooked Man , a film about survival in the face of death.

In the 1950s, Rookie Bureau for Paranormal Research and Defense [BPRD] agent Bobbie Jo Song is tasked with delivering a spider to the BPRD, but must seek Hellboy's help when things go awry. Together, they travel to Appalachia to take on the Crooked Man, who has been sent back to Earth to collect souls for the devil.

Hellboy: The Crooked Man is written by original Hellboy creator Mike Mignola and Christopher Golden, and distributed in the US by Ketchup Entertainment.

The film stars Jack Kesy as Hellboy, Adeline Rudolph as Bobbie Jo Song, and Jefferson White as Tom Ferrel. Other cast includes Leah McNamara as Effie Kolb, Joseph Marcell as Reverend Watts, Hannah Margetson as Cora Fisher, and Martin Bassindale as The Crooked Man."
