Trainspotting 2 has been given an 18 cert.

T2 TRAINSPOTTING | British Board of Film Classification

I must admit, I was half expecting a sanitised 15 and I'm glad to be wrong!

The full trailer played at the cinema today and I'm really looking forward to seeing it. If it's anything like the first one, will include violence, drug use, sex and frequent profanity, so the 18 isn't entirely unexpected.

In America, it's been rated 'R' for... "drug use, language throughout, strong sexual content, graphic nudity and some violence"
