Only American Pie 2, Wedding and Reunion are sequels. The rest are spin-offs.

True, but American Reunion was dire, i'd rather watch Beta House.

I only classify four of those as 'proper' American Pie films: the first three and the last one. From memory, the others are 'American Pie presents' which are loose spin-offs and are crap.

I quite like it, in fact over the last few days I've watched all 4 theatrical American Pie films, Reunion is definitely the worst but it does have some funny moments

I don't think I've even seen Beta House or Book of Love. Band Camp and The Naked Mile were enough to put me off the "American Pie presents" films.

I haven't seen any of the spinoffs, despite Jim's dad being in them all and him being the best character from the series IMO, I just never fancied them

In my opinion, they are crass and almost devoid of pathos. However, even though you are wrong, you are welcome to disagree!
