Default Cinema's Coolest Baddies

There's two types of baddies in cinema. There's the totally bat-shit crazy, OTT ones and then there's the cool as ice ones. From Scar to Agent Smith and Hannibal, these are often much quieter, calmer, supressed and very manipulative. Yet, get on their bad side and you may not live to regret it.

Bruce Willis plays a rather interesting blend of these two types in the new Catch .44. You never know quite what he's going to do next which always keeps you on the edge of your seat. Especially at the end, which I won't say anymore about. You'll just have to see for yourself!

Ok, so what do you prefer? What type of evil character do you find most terrifying in film? Vote above and let us know why!

Got any favourite villians?

But Boo/Ella isn't a baddie. The reason why she acts like she does is because she just loves Alan too much. She is misunderstood, like Evil Monkey

Great list, Goji!

One I'd definitely like to add is: Raymond Lemorne (Bernard-Pierre Donnadieu) - The Vanishing (Spoorloos).
Gojirosan and Baseball Fury like this.

No! Ella is awful! The most horrible, deranged and terrifying villain in film history! Love is no excuse for psychopathy and murder. And there is no excuse for scary monkeys! *shudder*
