As Bizarre_Eye said, the movies have many flaws and if you were paying full price I'd say watch one first, but for a fiver it's no big loss.
Keep in mind that the movies are poorly presented in the AB box (poor prints, lazy chapter-separation, bad audio on Finni Hominis...), I have them in other editions and all the others are superior, still that is the most acessible way to see them currently.

I still remember the very first time I caught This Night... on television, I was immediately hooked and couldn't believe a character from the 60's speaking so openly against organized religion.

This is outdated by now, but here's a crappy video I made some time ago with my CJ stuff:
