Is that set at Halloween?

I wasn't over impressed with it but if it's Halloween related i'll give it a re-watch next month.

Are you all getting your October horror marathons organized?

I currently don't have anything organised so I may have to sort out my 'to watch' pile so I prioritise the non-horror films in the next nine days and leave all the horror/thriller titles for October along with the films I normally watch in the run up to Halloween.

Still working on what I aim to watch this October, but it's currently looking like this:

I'm thinking about either adding more (but realistically wondering if that's possible), or removing the odd title (The Endless possibly, it feels like it might not quite fit in). I'd kind of like to throw some Hammer stuff in there too, The Witches seems obvious, as I have a bit of a witchy theme going on (but I don't own it, nor do I intend to buy it prior to October; unless I can catch it with the slip).

I still have a full week dedicated to the giallo, and the usual slasher leaning. A few are dependent on not getting delayed, and me buying them in time (Nightmare Beach, Mandy, Deadbeat At Dawn, Someone's Watching Me, Curse Of The Demon and Terrifier). I'm liking the line up a lot though. It's a real struggle narrowing things down.

Great stuff, Baka. Your reviews are always a pleasure to read each October.

I will say, if you haven't seen it, Someone's Watching Me isn't the most scary horror film about. In fact i found it quite disappointing and thought it more a tv movie thriller than anything else.

Quick Q - Regarding your image. Whats the film on line 4, four across?

It's Witchhammer. Second Run put it out over here, with much better art.

And, thank you! I always look forward to reading everyone else's reviews too! It's as fun as watching the movies, honestly.

I bought Witchhammer to watch last Christmas time. Hopefully i'll watch it along with The Cremator this Christmas.

I too prefer the UK art. A lot more witchery going on with the stake burning.

Yeah. It's only a few seconds at the start that's missing from other releases, but it's the principal of it isn't it?

Hope to see you contribute to this years October Horror Marathon, Dave.

Once you've posted here you can't escape.
