A film I've always liked.
When I finally got to see it intact, I liked it even more.
The whole "test" sequence still makes me shudder tbh.

How can one film I hated growing up become a total gem, Dan O'Herlihy plays Conrad Cochran the genius toy maker who plans a spectacular phenomenon on halloween with a advert and kids to be wearing their masks. Tom Atkins plays the doctor Daniel Challis who gets involved in the mystery of the man carrying a mask and Stacey Nelkin as Ellie the daughter of the man killed. The story does seem a bit far fetched using Stonehenge as a metaphor for the evil plan but that can be forgiven as the film does have it's suspenseful moments and great visual effects.

Alice wakes up with false memories but soon learns she is she is in a underground umbrella facility and sets out too escape with the help of Leon Kennedy and Ada Wong amongst others. 6.5/10



A favourite a VHS days which I think was more down to the young me seeing puppies and pussies for the first time. It's complete nonsense but enjoyable tale about a shuttle crew whom spot a alien craft while exploring Haleys comet unwittingly bring space vampires too earth. 8.5/10



Set a few years after the first the commander of the first mission too mars is infected by the Alien syndrome and goes around killing and impregnating women , the only hope are Press and Doctor Laura Baker whom return , Laura has also cloned Sil from the first who could be earth only hope. It might be more gory but wasn't a patch on the first. 6/10

After being betrayed once again by Wesker , Alice sets out where it all began Racoon City too end it once and for all when she is told by the red queen umbrella are set to wipe out the remaining human population , but there is hope as there is a cure for the T virus that once released will destroy anything infected by the virus. For me this was properly my favourite I liked how everything came full circle from the first. 8/10



Dean Corso( Depp) is a collector and finder of rare books who is hired to find two other copies of a book that are believed too be written by the devil and can summoning him too earth. As soon as he starts his case people begin to die and strange things start happening . No gore or possessions etc but the film has a unnerving and disturbing quality running through it. 7.8/10

Wrong Turn VI. 2014.

Danny has landed a inheritance which takes him and his friends to a abandoned resort where family secrets will be revealed.

Due to a technical problem I had to take two movies off my list that I planned to watch and decided to go for this, opinions do vary on here, what do you call a bunch of bad actors? Pornstars and even then I doubt these ones will get hired for those kind of films. Aside from the decent killings and a bit of female nudity (FYI the sex scenes are nothing spectacular that you can't pump your fist at) this film had nothing going for it, this just seemed to drag on where I practically was loosing interest. Who can I speak to for the traumatic loss of £5 I spent on this film, 1 and 2, were good,3 bearable 4 and 5 were the warning that the franchise was going downhill, I should have listened.

Not really, i'm not big on loads of makeup either, i'd rather have a woman that looks like a woman should look,natural.
I think it's cuz i grew up in the 70's, i'd rather have a slightly posh refined woman, the kind that you'd find in Hammer and all over 70's TV, Jenny Agutter type's.

They don't need to have any money, just not be a chav and be able to string a few sentences together like.
Also i don't like high heels, or stupid "sexy" outfits and bling.
A dress and some black stockings will do me fine.

Obviously this is why i'm currently alone.

Too fussy for my own good, I'm like Stephen with his film covers.

Amateur Night.
A group of friends record their night out with a friend who has a hidden cam in his glasses when they pick up two girls one is not like any other girl.

Second Honeymoon.
A couple on a break stop off at a western themed area unaware that someone is stalking them who may know the couple and is after one of them.

Tuesday the 17th.
Wendy leads her friends through a trail in the woods where her friends were killed hoping to lure the group as bait to catch the killer.

The Sick Thing That Happened To Emily When She Was Younger.
Emily and her boyfriend who is way working have video chats, Emily thinks her flat is haunted but when a bump forms on her arm, something else is happening to her and her boyfriend may know more than he is letting on.

Some friends dress up for Halloween, they go to a house for a party and sneek in, when no one answers them they go to the attic where a girl is tied up and men around her, thinking it's a joke they rescue the girl and things take a dark turn for them.

This was a different kind of found footage film from the group finding the tapes and all the anthology of stories are all found footage, realistically I never thought these would work nor be good, I was wrong, every story was good that came with a nice unexpected twist, The second film V/H/S 2 was even better but still have mixed feeling about V/H/S Viral though tbh. These are ones to watch on a nice peaceful night, lights out and soak in the atmosphere.
