Saw both on the flicks many (full) moons ago and loved them both. Terence Stamp's cameo in Company is outright freaky. I also remember seeing a short comedy (in b/w) called Cry Wolf with Paul Maxwell which had the most ridiculous werewolf makeup I've ever seen. It played as support feature to the original release of Airplane. |

I'd loved to have seen Wolfen on the big screen. Going back to the list of howler films, how could I have forgotten Jack Nicholson's turn in WOLF?

The Peter Graves TV movie Scream Of The Wolf was another small-screen gem. Lon Chaney also became hirsute in Frankenstein Meets The Wolf Man, House Of Frankenstein and House Of Dracula. There was also a werewolf in Dr Terror's House Of Horrors (though barely seen). |

I don't know why, but I've always had a soft spot for WEREWOLF OF WASHINGTON. It's not a great film by any means but I find it strangely watchable (unlike WEREWOLF OF WOODSTOCK bleeeeurrrgh).

Is there any love here for Tyburn's Legend of the Werewolf?

That's a film that always looked a lot better in stills than to actually watch.

That's the one. Also featured Ron Moody and Roy Castle. I preferred Cushing's The Ghoul which he filmed around the same time.
