Anyone picked up Odeon Entertainment's digitally re-mastered DVD edition of Blood on Satan's Claw yet?

I would love to hear what the new release of Blood on Satans Claw is like. I don't think it has any extras but it's apparently uncut and cleaned up. They also have a new transfer of the classic film The Asphyx released.

The new release of The Blood on Satans Claw is a worthwhile addition for all fans as it supercedes the previous Anchor Bay discs by being anamorphic but there are no extras bar trailers so hang onto the AB discs too although I could never work out why they altered the bonus features from the individual release when they put it in the Tigon box.

The film starts with an MGM logo so perhaps we might get a Midnite Movies release too

The 5.1 mix sounds like a new one and unlike AB remixes this one put the dialogue through the centre as it should instead of mid air like the AB version

I shall have to get The Asphyx now

I just started watching The Blood Beast Terror again (been more than 10 years since I last watched it).

Been re-watching some of the lesser known Tigon classics recently:

The Body Stealers
The Haunted House of Horror
The Beast in the Cellar

They haven't aged vey well, but are still enjoyable cheese-packed fun.

Virgin Witch beckons tomorrow...

Although I own the Tigon coffin set,I couldn't resist this artwork, which arrived today.

One of the better Tigon films IMO.

That's very nice artwork Reaps - better than the film, I'd say!

But, yeah Beast in the Cellar is pretty decent - not a patch on the likes of Blood on Satan's Claw or Witchfinder General, though.

Definetly not,but an enjoyable romp nonetheless.

Flora Robson and Beryl Reid?

Wonder if they were proud of that title on their CV.....

Conqueror Worm and Blood On Satan's Claw are two of my favorites from any genre. Classic, and so evocative. One of a kind films. Haven't seen some of the others mentioned here, sadly. Hoping to rectify this soon!
