I always found The Conqueror Worm a silly title. I realise AIP were trying to tie it into the Price/Poe series, but the film has nothing to do with Poe's story and is a far cry from the films Price made with Roger Corman. I watched the UK Blu-ray of Witchfinder General last night and seeing it in HD was an absolute revelation, it makes the old UK DVDs look like old VHS tapes! Yes, it's that good.

Can't wait for their release of Blood on Satan's Claw on BD now!

The Blu-ray of Satan's Claw should look great as I have the Odeon DVD and it looks lovely!

Yes, I prefer the Witchfinder title, as well, and I've still to find a proper released of Blood On Satan's Claw. Mine is a (decent) burn.

I would love to see The Conqueror Worm.

Witchfinder Matthew Hopkins battles giant earthworm like creatures with huge teeth summoned from the depths of hell by 17th century witches.

I own a old German VHS copy of Doomwatch. The cover doesn't fit the film at all, but I liked it. The DVD uses the same cover:
