My Shameless DVD of Daughters came today. Hadn't seen it in a while so I gave it a spin. Whilst not a giallo favourite of mine (Poliziotto giallo probably remains my least favourite type - although I still enjoy them), it was great to see it again - nice print from Shameless, too. Also, I could be wrong but did I notice a couple of brief scenes not present in the Koch Media version? |

I don´t agree with the term Giallo-fantastico. Suspiria and Inferno had nothing to do with Giallo. More loke straight horror with gothic elements... |

Those are sub-divisions Michael Koven made in his book (La Dolce Morte) as mentioned before. I used those to create the poll,of course everyone's entitled to his own opinion. |

The killings in suspiria and inferno are quite giallo like. You never see the whole of the killer, just the hands. I agree that the storyline isn't like a giallo but they do have elements. Imo.

I actually ordered the US dvd for a friend from Axel last weekend. It was supposedly in stock then...but now it isn't anymore. |

Today I won the dutch DVD of Tenebrae on Ebay for a lovely £3. I really wanted this just because the cover is so good and it goes by the name of "Shadows". Will be pleased to add it to the dario collection when it gets here. |
