Interesting... One for the shopping list then methinks!

No, I haven't - which is why it has piqued my interest so much. The more obscure gialli getting released the better in my opinion!

What's your opinion on the film, b?

It's 1986 of course so a lot less stylish than the 60s-70's gialli but it's got a gritty look and feel.
Not bad considering it's exploiting a real crime case.

I wish someone would release L'assassino è ancora tra noi on dvd or bd as well.
I love the ending of that one.

Thanks, b.

Yeah, I know some of the mid-late '80s gialli can be a little hit and miss which is why I asked!

It sounds worth a punt though.

The Filmart releases of The Cynic the Rat and the Fist and Brothers Till We Die are both English-friendly. I haven't watched either of them but I tested them both and they seem like really good quality releases.

FilmArt's release of the giallo LOVE AND DEATH IN THE GARDEN OF THE GODS has the option of English subs. Really nice print too.

I'd forgotten about that one! As you say the image quality is very good. There is no mention of English subtitles on the packaging or the menus though, so you have to select English subtitles once the film is running.
