As for ritualistic horrors, what about Darkland (I'm pretty sure that's what it's called) with Craig Fairbrass? I saw this on late night tv about ten years ago and didn't think it was too bad.
Isn't "Darkland" a "Wicker Man" knock off set in Wales but not too bad as I recall.

I can't find the clip I want, but the "Worzel Gummidge Christmas Special" has one of the best scenes of dark paganism I've ever seen on film or TV. It's the scene where the Crow Man performs a Christmas blessing which is like watching a truly demented version of "The Wicker Man" condensed into 3 minutes of madness. Since I can't find that clip, who is up for a cup of tea and a nice slice of cake?

The kids would love it. Sorry about the poor description, as far as I can remember two ( Or maybe 3?) kids stumble across a strange puzzle laid out on the floor and ron moody standing over. Long story short, he gets them to chase after some object (what it is escapes me) hotly pursued by a female witch. They then have to return said object to him, not letting it fall into the villans grasp. You really need to see it and not go on my vague 25 year old memories.

I'm sure there are still a few episodes on YouTube to whet your appetite. I've had them saved for a while now, but never have gotten around to watching them.

Yup, MTDS, it's a Wicker Man knock off, but as we both know there is a lot worse floating out there!

You couldn't have a better name for playing a witch.

The Believers from 1980 something is another good one laced with some nice gory deaths to boot.

Is that the Martin Sheen film, if so I quite liked it. Using a similar theme of Voodoo based religious cults is the rather fine "Borderland".

I'd totally forgotten the mighty Michael and Roberta Findlay's venture into the world of cult killers..."Snuff".

That's the one. What about Wes Craven's The Serpent and the Rainbow (complete with haunted chair!)?
