I've just noticed that his Dracula and Giallo aren't in the poll.

Age of thread or hideous censorship??

Age of the thread, I'd say

It was started in September 2008, and 'Giallo' and 'Dracula' were released in 2009 and 2012 respectively

In later life, this young lad would swap the gun for a pair of black gloves and a razor sharp knife

The Card Player

Lunatic taunts cops with a bizarre poker game ... where the stakes are rather high ahem. Not one that tops a lot of polls ... this is still entertaining imho. Liam Cunningham obviously fancied a holiday?

I honestly can't remember if I have seen it, I've definitely seen the Joel Schumacher one, I think they came out around the same time

Interesting history that one - it was supposed to be made in 2001/2002 as part of a loose trilogy, following on from Non Ho Sonno (Sleepless) - the film was scuppered after the company that had been set to make it went under, leaving the rights in legal limbo, from what I understand - Argento ended up bailing and did The Card Player instead.

Be interested in seeing this, if only to see if there’s still a connection to Sleepless.

I rewatched this on BD the other night.
I honestly don't know why this one gets a load of stick!

Il Maestro certainly has good taste when it comes to his leading ladies!
