I think Alan Jones is being a bit unfair when he compares the new film to 70's and 80's masterpieces. One has to bear in mind that the latest movie was shot in just 30 days only and on a very low budget. Also please correct me if wrong but isn't this a person that very much enjoyed Phantom of the Opera but absolutely loathes Phenomena? Back in the day, he also once told a friend of mine (actually best man at my wedding) that Stendhal Syndrome was nothing to get excited about. Obviously I haven't seen the latest Argento film yet but I would personally not be swayed by Alan Jones opinions. btw Had cinema release in Italy.

It's out in Germany on July 29th as a dual release - DVD and Blu-Ray. The price quoted on Amazon Germany is €23.99

It looks like there are different covers available as well. The cover for the Italian release is...

...while the version released in Germany gives the choice of cover 'A'...

Italian blu-ray is listing Italian 5.1 and 2.0 and Italian subtitles on the back cover so unless there's hidden English subs, I'll first be experiencing the film without understanding dialogue (in 2-3 weeks). The forthcoming German blu-rays are Italian audio and German subtitles only according to the specs.
