Nice, mate! Here's my own take on the flick.

To be fair, it's not Franco's fault. He sent silent workprints to Paris and Gerard Kikoine (later a porn director and even later an exploitation director Harry Alan Towers) dubbed in the dialogue, effects, and presumably chose the music.

there's more to franco and rollint han nudity (although that is a pretty big part of it) ol jesus could pull off some pretty groovy shots and atmospheres if you caught him on a good day.

Sorry for stating the obvious, but if you've never seen any Franco or Rollin, how can you know if you'd like them or not?

Check out Franco's Venus in Furs. It's groovy. Fantastic locations, funky music, and an excellent mystery to boot. It's a near perfect Euro classic.
