It is indeed. I'm very much looking forward to delving into it.

Mine will have gone this evening.

You probably think i'm nuts waiting till Christmas, but i love reading them in the glow of the Christmas tree, a wee dram to sip, and a warm fire burning. Makes the whole fortnight off work really pleasurable and something to look forward to.

English Gothic and Jess Franco will be perfect for this.

No, it sounds like a good time to me.

I don't think I could wait that long though!

I'm very patient.

You have to be with books about Franco.

Mine arrived from Amazon last Thursday. I made sure that I didn't leave the house until after it had been delivered. I've only made a cursory inspection of the book so far, but it looks like a very fine piece of work indeed to me. As someone else said, it is a surprisingly heavy book.

90 minutes to read the introduction!! Lawdy.

Rewatched Succubus last night. Featuring Howard Varnon I see...

It made slightly more sense this time. Michel Lemoine limbering up for his peerless turn in 7 Women For Satan etc etc. The party scene is still just bonkers imo.

I love Succubus. It's a shame Franco messed with the photography though, wonder if Fulci saw it and decided to produce a whole film that way? Love Janine Reynaud as well, she's part of the Red Lips duo that Franco should have used more. Perhaps they didn't fancy his bush zoom lens following them around though.

7 Women For Satan eh? It has been quite a while since I last watched that one, and they certainly don't make them like that any more! More is the pity!
