I've got a secret......... - 10th January 2013 05:54 PM - permalinkDemdike@Cult LabsOnly if you allow post notification back to your pc. I stop it occasionally as my inbox can have 50 notifications clogging everything up.
With the disappearing pics and avatar etc i'm not liking this one bit. - 10th January 2013 05:45 PM - permalinkDemdike@Cult LabsThere used to be an email link on each post but that doesn't seem to be anymore. It sent an email to the recipient whilst not disclosing anyones actual email address.
- 2nd January 2013 04:01 AM - permalinkwonderlustHappy New Year to my favorite Englishman..<3
- 31st December 2012 01:57 AM - permalinkwonderlustI've been sick..: (
I have to work both days so at home I will be, alone and unkissed at the stroke of midnight... - 26th December 2012 03:13 AM - permalinkwonderlustMy most treasured gift was a used violin case. Used you say?? Yes! Its worn and the inside smells of the past, maybe a magnificent violin laid inside this case...owned by a great musician. <3 that no one ever knew. : )
I started violin lessons this September and I am enjoying it a lot. It came with a case but I wanted a warm and cozy place to put my violin...and I received it . The outside it scuffed and the lock is hard to snap and the inside has this beautiful blue velvety material. I've added a leather strap so I can carry it over my shoulder when I go to practice. I played House of the Rising Sun with a few miss notes...oh well.
I hope you had a wonderful Christmas time with your family and loved ones. x0

I thought I'd use this blog space to collate the shite that fills my head, some days to overload.
After roughly 25 years I've been thinking about writing poetry again. I used to do performance poetry in my younger days. My last performance involved walking across town carrying a 6 foot plus cross before being crucified after reciting the poem, "The Divine Lord Jason of the True Believers Ejaculating Jesus Cathedral Wants Your Soul". All this was done to the sound of a mate's...

F*ck me, I just noticed it's been 4 years to the day since I joined the forum. Even though I don't post as much as I used to, I can't break the habit of logging in every day to read the odd post here and there.
I've not the time to watch films at the moment as I do 2 karate classes a week and 2 Tai Chi classes. I'm too battered and bruised most nights to even pick up the remote let alone watch a film.

I can't seem to get my cult groove on at the moment. The thought of watching those rare gems of filth and wonder that normally send a shiver down my spine and cause both a physical and metaphysical hard-on, just ain't cutting it with me at present. Men of my age normally start to suffer erectile dysfunction but I seem to have DVD dysfunction. It's like a mid-life crisis but rather than dumping Mrs MTDS for a younger woman, I've ditched the DVD player for a Blu-ray player. Sure, it was shiny and...

I'm having a break from posting on the forum for a bit as other interests of mine excite me more at the moment.
Take care.

I've been kicking this idea around for a bit now, why do some films I watch take me to another place in my head? I'm not talking about the use of music or lighting etc but why do certain films or parts of films leave me in a trance like state?
Without wishing to seem weird, could there be a spiritual dimension to film. I know it sounds odd but it's a legitimate why of describing other forms of art, especially music or painting. So why not film?
Interestingly there are...
