Yeah, I've thought about Muay Thai as he is built like a whippet but has strong legs from swimming and can throw a mean punch from all the pad work he has been doing. That said the JJ he is doing has no sporting element to it and is purely self defence with a good portion of stand up fighting and not going to the floor.
The boy is just training in JJ at the moment, I think Hivey got him muddled with me. We were talking about cross training today. I want him to box but he's not that keen on being punched in the face for fun!
