- 30th March 2022 05:42 PM - permalinkDemdike@Cult LabsI just take a sip of JD followed by a sip of snakebite. The very first sip can taste tart but after that it makes for a nice combo. I don't recommend it though. It's just a personal thing that i like.
I guess it's snakebite and whisky chasers in small quantity. - 30th March 2022 02:40 PM - permalinkDemdike@Cult LabsJust before one pm, so had the clocks not gone forward noon.
- 7th March 2022 07:04 AM - permalinkSusan ForemanHappy birthday sir
Hope you have a good one xxx - 7th March 2020 03:03 PM - permalinkDemdike@Cult LabsHappy birthday, Nos.
Hope it's an enjoyable one. - Thank you ever so much Nos! Yeah, I lost my Xmas and put my family through the mangle but they have been wonderful and I can't thank the 50 or more nurses that I saw at both hospitals (Portsmouth QA and Southampton) for their care.
Right now I look like Peter Cushing in many ways but I hope to pile some weight on soon while rethinking my diet.
Look forward to checking out the piles of discs that I gathered in the sales, along with the Criterion Zilla set! But for now I have take it mega easy.
Again thank you Nos for writing and asking to be a friend...yeah!
Cheers!

Many happy returns by the way.

Following the ceremony on Sunday (February 4, 2018), I thought it would be a good idea to have a list of the 90 films which have won the Oscar for Best Picture, most recently Guillermo del Toro's sublime Cold War fantasy romance The Shape of Water. There was no category for Best Picture in 1928, with Wings taking the award for Outstanding Picture (the category which would become Best Picture in 1962 after other name variations) and Sunrise: A Song of Two Humans winning the Unique and Artistic Picture...

When it comes to classic genre films which are 'essential viewing', there isn't a definitive list, but, in 1999, Empire released a Special Collector's Edition supplement called The Greatest Horror Films Ever, which is a really good 'beginners guide' to horror. In it, there are 50 films in different categories of films, which I'll list here.
