- Just a quickie, ooh I really should think about me poor owld ticker! Seriously though, I am not disapearing from the forum, it's just that my son, Joe, has got me into another one of them long RPG games that I so used to love and I'm addicted again. In the words of Arnie "I'll be back"...occasionally.
By the way, I think that the Hermit is dead. I passed by the cave yesterday and the stench was a lot worse than usual, I gathered up my fortitude and held my breath but all I could see were some lush ferns and a mound of moss that looked kind of like a man with his scrotum nailed to a slab of sandstone. It might just be an "installation"... - Cool, me like.
Ask them if they like the master blaster of disaster....... My personal favorite BUCKETHEAD!
https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=V6f0BK5hq_8 - Oh yea, Hausu is one of my favorite films of all times. It was a blind buy when I bought the criterion edition at the store. Ironically a local film house showed it the same year for one of its Halloween films so I was lucky, I got to see it on the big screen.
I like a lot of the Asain Exstreem stuff and Foreign movies in general. - There's worse ways of testing that! There's quite a few cool things at JB Hi-Fi, actually. I got my Army of Darkness necronomicon from them
- Yeah they're a good bunch, there's 23 films between the 4 of them.
Should be easy to get hold of. They're roughly $23AUD (less than £15) each on JB Hi Fi - Buy Cheap TVs, Computers, Laptops, iPads, iPhones, Mobile Phones, Home Theatre, Music, Movies, Musical Instruments, Games & Game Consoles. (before delivery, mind). Or I think they're available on the Madman website too. Really nice prints on the films, too. Plus the covers are reversible if you don't want the Aussie certifications on them. - 23rd April 2014 05:38 PM - permalinkDemdike@Cult LabsTroggi'd again. Thanks for the likes good sir.

Fwiends, Womans and countwymen...Part 5
At about this time last year I started looking for old friends on FB. I found a few of them; Michael Claxton, Mick Lee and Lesley Paget were the main ones. I suppose I had best tell all and sundry where they "fit in!...

It's been a while, hasn't it? I've been avoiding you all because I needed to "sort my head out"! To do this I have been employing many methods; CBT (some use), Mindfullness (some use), Horticultural Therapy (in a big, peaceful garden, very useful), and a few courses (including 3-d printing and rustic stool making) with a lovely couple, Rachel and Steve, known as The Company of Makers https://www.companyofmakers.com/ (have a look at the stuff that Rachel produces out of old uniforms, she's...

Before I post this to my blog I would like to point out that I am not looking for sympathy, empathy or support, I'm just trying to explain my absence from the Lab.
Since being "retired" from work I have had too much time to wallow in self pity and the past, I have gone way passed the "self pity" part but the past has caught me up!
I have been experiencing a deep depression coupled with painful memories and have been diagnosed with PTSD. I am getting...

Before continuing to bore the arses off of any passing labbers who haven't got the energy to click away with my riveting tales of school life I thought I'd give you a heads up on what troggi's cave is like!
To give you a bit of a geographical perspective anyone who has travelled by train to Portsmouth has probably seen our house. I suspect that Ms. Jackson has seen it many times when either approaching Fratton Station from Portsmouth & Southsea or leaving Fratton Station going...

I am going to zip through this period of the late 1960s as there were few changes until 1970.
It was '67-'68 when I became a junior schoolboy and we had a pretty new young teacher called Miss Griffiths. She was obviously too pretty because she soon became mrs. something-or-other and had to leave to have a baby but for now she was our Miss Griffiths. She took us on a trip to the City Museum at Weston Park, near the Sheffield University Arts Tower and the Henderson's Relish Factory...
